Does StrawPoll allow paid votes?
StrawPoll's terms of service prohibit automated voting and "vote manipulation" by bots, but they do not regulate how a real human chooses to cast their vote — and our service uses real people on unique residential IP addresses voting through fresh browser sessions, not scripts. The poll creator's own rules govern what is fair within their specific competition (fandom poll, esports MVP debate, sports GOAT bracket, etc.). We never accept orders for political, government, academic, shareholder, or regulated polls. For commercial and community polls — which is more than 99% of StrawPoll's traffic — purchasing promotional support is treated identically to any other form of audience mobilisation.

Can you deliver votes for a private poll URL?
Yes — as long as you can share the direct URL with us, we can vote on it. StrawPoll's "private" mode usually means the poll is not listed in public discovery feeds and is only reachable through the direct link. It does not require login by default. If the poll creator has additionally enabled "only invited accounts can vote" (a paid Pro feature), we'll need you to either disable that restriction temporarily, or share the invite link with us so our aged StrawPoll accounts can join. We never need your poll-creator login or admin access. Send the URL through live chat and we'll confirm compatibility within 60 minutes.
What if my poll has a deadline in 2 hours?
Urgent delivery is one of our most-requested options for StrawPoll, where fandom and esports polls often close on a hard deadline. It does not expose individual IP addresses, account identifiers, or device fingerprints. Because our votes come from real residential IPs spread across the countries you target, paced on a natural growth curve, and pass through the same CAPTCHA and cookie layers as organic voters, there is nothing in the poll creator's dashboard that distinguishes our votes from genuine traffic. What is your refund policy?
Full refund if we fail to deliver inside the agreed window. Proportional refund if StrawPoll removes votes due to a platform-side issue (rare — fewer than 1 in 200 launch-period orders). What's the difference between strawpoll.com and strawpoll.me?
strawpoll.me is the original 2012 site that became famous in early gaming and forum culture. It was sold to SimpleTec in 2020 and effectively merged into the modern strawpoll.com, which is now the official platform with richer features (multiple-choice polls, scheduled deadlines, embedded polls, account-tied voting, OAuth login). Legacy strawpoll.me URLs still redirect to strawpoll.com poll IDs, and we support both. If you have a poll URL from a forum or Discord that uses the old strawpoll.me format, send it as-is — we'll resolve it to the current poll on the new platform and confirm compatibility before charging.
Can you solve hCaptcha or reCAPTCHA on protected polls?
Yes. Our delivery stack integrates a human-in-the-loop CAPTCHA solver staffed by trained operators in three timezone regions, with an average solve time of 8–14 seconds per CAPTCHA. We support hCaptcha (StrawPoll's default since 2022), Google reCAPTCHA v2 (the "I'm not a robot" checkbox), and reCAPTCHA v3 (invisible behavioural scoring). For polls protected by reCAPTCHA v3, our browser sessions accumulate organic interaction history before the vote action so the behavioural score passes the typical 0.7 threshold. Can you vote on embedded StrawPoll polls inside Discord, Reddit, or a forum?
Yes. StrawPoll polls embedded in Discord servers, Reddit posts, Twitch chat, forum threads, or third-party websites all resolve to a strawpoll.com poll URL on the back end. Send us either the embed URL or the original strawpoll.com URL — both work. Our voters cast through the canonical poll URL (which is what StrawPoll's counter actually records), so the vote registers identically whether your community sees the poll as an embed or a direct link. For Discord-hosted polls created through the StrawPoll bot, send the bot's reply message and we'll extract the poll ID for you.

Can I target votes from specific countries for fandom or regional polls?
Yes — country and region targeting is available on every StrawPoll package.
