Sports — Athlete of the Week & Player of the Year (12)

  • Bend Bulletin Athletes of the Week

One regional paper, one weekly ballot: the Bend Bulletin's boy-plus-girl athlete vote at bendbulletin.com/sports, covering Deschutes County high schools through the OSAA season. Free, public, no account, run by EO Media Group.

  • Oregon High School Athlete of the Week

Statewide Oregon · High School on SI (Sports Illustrated / SBLive)

Statewide weekly fan-vote poll operated by High School on SI (Sports Illustrated / SBLive) at si.com, spotlighting standout Oregon OSAA high school athletes each sports season. Free, unlimited manual votes, poll closes Sunday at 11:59 pm PT.

  • Oregon High School Baseball Player of the Week

The High School on SI / SBLive Oregon Baseball Player of the Week is a statewide fan vote at si.com covering every OSAA classification, from 6A suburban programs down to 1A rural schools. The ballot typically carries 25–30 nominees, votes are unlimited, and the poll closes Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific each week of the March–June season.

  • Oregon High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week

The High School on SI / SBLive Oregon Boys Basketball Player of the Week fan vote runs every week of the OSAA season, December through March. Dan Brood curates the statewide field from any classification, anyone can vote — but the ballot caps supporters at one vote every six hours, making campaign pacing matter in a way the football poll never does.

  • Oregon High School Football Player of the Week

The SBLive / SI Oregon Football Athlete of the Week: a statewide fan vote at si.com covering all OSAA classifications from 6A down to 1A 6-man. With 25–36 nominees per week, winning percentage — not raw count — is what separates a mobilized community from a split field. Poll closes every Sunday at 11:59 p.m.

  • Oregon High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week

The High School on SI / SBLive statewide fan vote for the best Oregon girls basketball performance of the week. One vote per six hours — not unlimited like the Oregon football poll — and it closes Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. Dan Brood curates the 28-nominee statewide field each week from December through March.

  • Oregon High School Player of the Year

Statewide Oregon · High School on SI (Sports Illustrated / SBLive)

Annual end-of-season fan vote polls run by High School on SI (Sports Illustrated / SBLive) at si.com/high-school/oregon, selecting a sport-specific Oregon prep Player of the Year — separate from OSAA's coaches-panel awards. Free, unlimited manual votes; automated scripts disqualify the entry.

  • Oregon High School Softball Player of the Week

The SBLive / High School on SI statewide fan vote for the best Oregon prep softball performance of the week. Editors nominate standout players from 6A down to 1A, anyone can vote with no account required, and the poll closes Sunday at 11:59 p.m. — the same tight deadline that governs every SI Oregon sports ballot.

  • Oregon High School Wrestler of the Year

Statewide Oregon · High School on SI (Sports Illustrated / SBLive)

Annual fan-vote poll at si.com by High School on SI (Sports Illustrated / SBLive) naming Oregon's top boys and girls prep wrestlers. The 2025-26 poll closed April 22, 2026; candidates included Tommy Belding and Brody Buzzard. Free, unlimited manual votes; bots banned.

  • Register-Guard Boys Athlete of the Week

    Eugene · The Register-Guard

The Register-Guard's weekly fan vote for the best male prep performance in the Eugene-Springfield area. Embedded on SecondStreet's platform, it covers football, soccer, basketball, and track depending on the season — and unlike the statewide SI polls, it closes Thursday at 11 a.m. Pacific, before most fans realize the window is open.

  • Salem Statesman Journal Boys Athlete of the Week

The Maps Credit Union Boys Athlete of the Week is a standalone weekly fan vote from the Salem Statesman Journal, run separately from the paper's girls ballot on the same SecondStreet platform. It draws multi-sport nominees from Marion and Polk county programs (Salem, Keizer, Silverton, Woodburn, Dallas, Independence, Monmouth) and closes 9 a.m. Thursday, hours ahead of most other Oregon weekly polls.

  • Statesman Journal Athlete of the Week

Salem · Statesman Journal / MAPS Credit Union

The Statesman Journal's weekly fan vote for the best high school athlete across Salem-Keizer. Run on the SecondStreet platform, sponsored by MAPS Credit Union, covering all sports year-round — and closing Thursday at noon PT, a full two to three days earlier than most Oregon weekly polls.
